ABOUT US
Based in the historic market town of Wareham, Dorset we are a local, independent supplier of high quality mobility aids and care products. Here at the Purbeck Mobility Centre, we supply a wide range of equipment, for sale and hire, designed to make life easier. Our aim is to offer a personal service to help customers choose the most appropriate solution for their needs and to help maintain their mobility and independence.
Wareham is very well-situated at just 2.5 miles from Sandford Holiday Park, 6.9 miles from Poole and 9.5 miles from Swanage.
PRODUCTS
From mobility scooters, wheelchairs and rollators to sock pullers and kettle-tippers; we provide items, both big and small, to make life easier in the home. We try our best to offer quality products with great service at prices which are competitive with the internet.

HIRE EQUIPMENT
We hire scooters, wheelchairs, rollators, ramps, commodes, toilet frames and many other mobility products on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Equipment for the home, including kitchen and perching chairs, adjustable toilet frames and commodes can also be hired. For larger products and hires over £60 we offer a delivery and collection service to Swanage, Wareham, Sandford, Poole and surrounding areas. SERVICING AND REPAIRS
We offer servicing and repair of mobility scooters, powerchairs, wheelchairs, rollators and many other mobility products. Andy, who has an extensive background in electrical and mechanical engineering, has his own workshop at the back of the shop and subject to availability we can offer a collection and return service in Swanage, Wareham, Wool, Lulworth, Upton, Creekmoor, Lytchett, Corfe Mullen if you are unable to get to the shop.
Wherever possible we use manufacturers original parts and offer fixed price servicing for scooters and powerchairs. We supply all sizes of replacement sealed lead acid and lithium batteries and our prices include fitting and disposal of old batteries.
